For Mumbai Martyrs & for all Indians!!

For Mumbai Martyrs & for all Indians!!

Your motive is insane, you worship the DEMON ,
I worship my GOD and have a sermon!
You are ruling now sitting on an evil throne,
I pray my god who is still a stone!!

U made my country “the war Zone”
I plead my god in a helpless tone!!
U made the green mother land terror prone,
He is watching u celebrate and I moan!!!!

Your ambition is just to slain,
I am in anguish, please feel my pain!!
You want justice which is in vain,
I want peace and only peace and violence to drain!!!

---peace be upon who are brutally killed—
****stay united and pray for peace****
Salute to the REAL HEROES who sacrificed their lives in this massacre

For all my frens & trainee mates from Nov27 2006 batch B-)

The dawn of Nov27th 2006 can never be forgotten. The most memorable day in all our lives!

Little confused, little frightened, little puzzled(thinking of the start in such a huge campus)WE ALL ENTERED the gates of Hootagalli Mysore INFOSYS Campus. We were all thrilled when we were given "THE PINK"cards(our first IDENTITY CARDS)at the Multiplex(our first destination in the campus). We were very much fascinated by the campus, thrilled a lot thinking about the new life, WERE AT THE VERGE of TEARS when we were bading bye bye to MamaPapa and college buddies..TRIED HARD To control the tears COZ WE BELIEVED WE ENTERED THE PROFESSIONAL LIFE!!!BUT IT WAS false….Through out the training we felt it was just like a student life reloaded again in our lives…A RARE BOON which rare people get!!As the INFY song was played"You are my INFY"we felt a shiver in spine…A NEW EXCITEMENT THAT WE are going to be a part of "INFY FAMILY"!

THE first day most of us got lost in the campus searching for the right roads, searching for the food courts, for Xerox of markslists in G.E.C. and searching for many more things.

How can any one forget the sessions conducted at the multiplex? C-Life by Arun Nayar AASHI by PreetKushalappa..session by BRADLEY…popularly called Brad(cant remember the name of the session but it was NOT BORING I can say:-).Financial briefing of which not even a single word got absorbed in to our heads, still we tried concentrating on each and every WORD as if theres going to be an immediate test in it as INFY training and tests were already RULING our MINDS!"The first one week at INFY is like HONEYMOON then the marriage starts"!!These were the words of our Mentor Shashikala during the first Ice breaking session at INFY popularly called ILI sessions!( ILI==Infosys Leadership Institute). We all laughed at the joke but that sarcasm proved to be true:( but who can deny that we were laughing all the way in the midst of the TIGHT training schedule making friends FOREVER!!we didn't know that the training of nearly 5months is going to be such an unforgettable phase of ALL OUR LIVES!!

The role plays conducted made us laugh, bored us and made us sleep too at times, still we found FUN in everything. After the first week of icebreaking there came the HeadBreaking and the most important phase…. "TECHNICAL TRAINING"at the most renowned campus OF MYSORE,still it felt OK !CHSSC ,PF, RDBMS. The syllabus was flowing and exams were running simultaneously! Though we felt it was all like "A sheer COLLEGE" we all had fun at our answers, exams, sleeping sessions in classes(Ofcourse due to lack of proper sleep the previous Night) .TIME WAS JUST FLYING AWAY!!The tea made in the kettle and the noodles boiled secretly(as we were warned not to;-))became our staple food.We didn't realize BREAKFAST was deleted from our timetables…Got used to the same old boring coffee from the coffee machines, but felt good as we had it along with FRIENDS!!chat at FC3 and pizzas now and then for a change.,assignments submitted strictly in the very beginning days and CTRLC+CTRLV followed later :-) :-) MULTICASTS received in Ipmessenger..FUNNY FWDS nonstop GAGS and jokes. we dint realise it was JAN so sooooon…

Then came "the COMPRE"...The fun lasted till then lessened with the thoughts of EXIT POLICY!!

Some of the friends got separated after generic!!Entered stream which came to end with jet speed!!It was more fast than GENERIC…We PRAYED FOR OURSELVES. PRAYED FOR OUR FRIENDS as it is difficult to even dream of vacating the place after spending all these days here! PRAYERS were answered .The thought of losing people due to exit policy was terrible, still the thing which gave us courage was A forever SMILE on our faces which rejuvenated us!!FRIENDS WHO WERE WITH US TILL THE END!!!laughed with us:) cried with us!!:( THE DAY OF SEPARATION has finally come..ALL OF US got to go to their own places after trying all possibilities to get their most WANTED DC!!

The sudden thought of leaving MYSORE ,our ROOM and friends was ODD, but TIME DOESN'T HALT for anyone!!ITS HARD TO C SMILES WHEN THERE ARE GOOD BYES:( but WE were excited as V finally accomplished the training and entered PRODUCTION!

The excitement did not last more than a week!!THE MECHANICAL life here …colleagues …onsite calls…business relations…the dialy routines…made the memories of INFY—MYSORE more strong. Now we completed 2years here… but still the memories are afresh as if all the events happened JUST YESTERDAY!

For whatever length of time we may stay here ..say 3 4 or even 10years [:-0 ]the period from NOV27th 2006…till the completion of training in APR 2007 will be the most MEMORABLE ERA in the INFY REGIME!!I hope all our friendships last forever and ever.. CHEERS!!:)

KEEP ROCKING LIKE THIS ……….. :):)

winter is here!!:).............. HAPPY diwali

The sudden chill feel and the cool breeze,

Winter started with a drizzle across the reeds!!

The day ends fast.. some times at Five,

I dialy get a glimpse of starry night in the long—Busdrive!!

Time to switch off the A.C.’s and turn on the heaters,

Time to wear jerkins socks and sweaters!

Beautiful are the water droplets on the leaf tip,

Wonderful is the early morning hot tea Sip!!

Mornings with fog are in a haze,

The day starts off in a laze!

Saved are we from the hot sun’s blaze,

No mood to work, just wanna Gaze!!

Nothing dominates the drowsy feel,

Yawn to control and to just reel!

Its warm and cozy under the rug covers,

Starting the day needs lotta powers!!:)

As the lazy days get dragged and even the freezy nights,

To brighten up came the festival of lights!

The sound of fireworks is the sound of joy,

Stars and "THE MOON" gave a try!

Failed to shower equal beauty in the illuminated SKY!

Galaxies in a rage and moon let a sigh ;-(

"DIWALI "we celebrate it with spirits so HIGH!!! :-):-)

EID-UL-FITR

PRAYER FOR PEACE

Unique day--OCT2nd ---the holy eid and Gandhi Jayanti!
The repeated bombings made me so gloomy that I felt to write some words in the memory of many innocent people who became victims of those culprits who are targetting at the destruction of humanity and peace with monstrously venomous agenda called “TERRORISM"

Mother Nation is equally important rather more important than mother religion!!
What mistake did these innocent people do to meet such a horrible death? The motto of all the non humans is baseless. Is there any punishment for such non humans on earth??If not on earth will atleast the supreme power above punish them???

“Awareness is the path of immortality;
Thoughtlessness is the path of death..”
Whoever seeking ones own happiness
Inflicts pain on others who also want happiness
Will not find happiness after death”!!!!

-----------LORD BUDDHA----------

The ultimate impact is on religion! Does any religion preach to harm others??Religions are created by man. There is only a single universal religion i.e."THE RELIGION OF HUMANITY".India a huge sub continent renowned for its “UNITY in DIVERSITY” is now being invaded by DEMONS who are trying to bring diversity minus unity in to light .."DIVIDED WE FALL UNITED WE RULE"!
When it comes to the point of mother nation let us remember only one thing that “We belong to India. It is our Mother Nation. No one can steal its peace. We will fight for it.”
Please take this oath to be united FOR EVER AND EVER
VANDEMAATARAM

“LET THY SOULS REST IN PEACE!
LET THY NATION BECOME PEACEFUL!!”

Oh god "may peace shower on this EARTH"
Punish the NON---HUMans! and save the earth from the wrath of the beastly humans.

---afshan------

one of MY "most FAVOURITE SONGS"!

Kabhi kabhi aditi zindagi mein yuhi koi apna lagta hai,

Kabhi kabhi aditi wo bichad jaaye to ek sapna lagta hai,

Aise mein koi kaise apne aasuon ko behne se roke?
Aur kaise koi soch le everything’s gonna be ok?

Kabhi kabhi to lage zindagi mein rahi naa khushi aur naa mazaa,
Kabhi kabhi to lage har din mushkil aur har pal ek sazaa,
Aise mein koi kaise muskuraye, kaise hass de khush hoke?
Aur kaise koi soch le everything gonna be ok?

Soch zara jaane jaa tujhko hum kitna chahte hai,
Rote hai hum bhi agar teri aankhon mein aasu aate hai,
Gaana to aata nahi hai magar phir bhi hum gaate hai,
Ki aditi maan kabhi , kabhi saare jahan mein andhera hota hai,
Lekin raat ke baad hi to savera hota hai..

Kabhi kabhi aditi zindagi mein yuhi koi apna lagta hai,
Kabhi kabhi aditi wo bichad jaaye to ek sapna lagta hai,
Hey aditi hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de tu zara,
Nahi to bass thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda muskura..

Tu khush hai to lage ki jahan mein chayee hai khushi,
Sooraj nikle badlon se,aur baaten zindagi,
Sun to zara madhosh hawa tujhse kehne lagi,
Ki aditi wo jo bichadte hai ek naa ek din phir mil jaate,
Aditi, jaane tu ya jaane naa phool phir khil jaate hai..

Kabhi kabhi aditi zindagi mein yuhi koi apna lagta hai,
Kabhi kabhi aditi wo bichad jaaye to ek sapna lagta hai,
Hey aditi hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de tu zara,
Nahi to bass thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda muskura..

Hey aditi hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de tu zara,
Nahi to bass thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda muskura..
Hey aditi hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de tu zara,
Nahi to bass thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda muskura..

Hey aditi hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de tu zara,
Nahi to bass thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda muskura..
Hey aditi hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de, hass de tu zara,
Nahi to bass thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda thoda muskura..

"THE DARKER SIDE"

The Lonesome nights and the days,
still time is flying in such a fast pace!
Where am I leading to?
What am I up to?

A drizzle and even a holiday used to make me feel WOW.
The civil dress on Saturday and fun filled Sunday are lost now!
Was always in a crowd with hell lot of noise.
Being claustrophobic now I prefer silence and poise!!

Getting wet in rains used to be my pleasure.
Now the muffled soil and its essence just bring the memories back in leisure!
The rainbow colors, the hide and seek played were “the Best”!
The radio and music are the only partners now:::where are the rest?

There was no calculation in any relation.
A friendly hand seems a puzzle now, a violation!!
Is this mad to feel with heavy mind collision.
Will this persist with out any solution?

Time just slipping away from hand like sand.
Day to day errands giving me sufficient grand.
Along with me a bunch of folks of same and different band.
There are invisible strands on this “ ROBOT LAND”!

No place and time for emotions as a professional.
To work and have periodical fun is a conditional!
A question to god Why is heart made of such delicate glass?!
while the rest of the human body is a hard mass!

When the Sun shines up in the sky so bright,
like a bountiful crop for harvest waiting for the time right,
may be all my compatriots sharing the same thought.
Thinking whether to express it or not!

Life sometimes a brief candle with the two ends burning,
Sometimes an endless mile; a bus wheel turning!
A friend to share the lonesome times, a silly thought,
freedom to love, freedom to shout, freedom to just freak out!

A handshake and a daily hi , just say it loud and let it ring!
Past present and future We all are a part of everything!!

An evening in Tolichowki 08-08-08 @ 8:p.M. :-)

Its not the Olympics at Beijing neither the power saving initiative to switch off the lights at 8:00 P.M. for 8 min made the day memorable. It was the heavy traffic jam which made me stay on the dirty and crazy roads of HYD roughly for 3 and 1/2 hrs that made the evening memorable. Was about to start at the office in a jubilant mood as it was friday evening after winding off my work @ 7:00 P.M. sharp..but one of my colleagues came back saying "Its impossible to step out"..When I saw through my window I could sense the TOOFAAN atmosphere with gush of water and wind beating the window panes with "VROOM" sound.Helpless we started chit-chat and loud laughter with a hot mug of coffee.I was clueless how to reach home when I got a call from my Bro who saved my thought saying" B ready .I Will pick u up in 1/2 hr".It was 7:20..spent the time discussing the rating of "Singh is Kinng"!And does the double "n" in the name really a good omen ;-P !Will "Rock on" hit the box office or not..IS Farhan Akhtar more dashing or Arjun Rampal :-) and is Mahesh babu a revdi or Manly!!were actually njoying the long long talks and gossips par ghar to pahunchna hai! :-(Two of my friends craving for hot fish curry left for New food court and I started towards the main gate getting wet top to bottom!(Y do we always carry umbrella only when there's no rain :-o??)Office umbrellas were picked by almost all and the scene at the main gate and few yards inside and outside it reminded me the climax court scene of :"GURU".I could see only the umbrella tops neatly placed in long rows and columns like a matrix !The scene was worth enough to be captured in a cam but DAmn its raining "cats n dogs!"Power saving initiative was strictly followed and lights went off at 8 sharp!I saved my head under all the "Guru Bhai's " :)umbrellas and reached my car emerging out of 100s of umbrellas as the "GURU OF THE DAY"! While all the others were eagerly waiting for the buses and cabs..me Bhayya and driver started off happily with PAppu cant dance saaala on 91.1 FM but the happiness didnt last long :-( Crossing Gachibowli is not a big deal. The road was clear.Only Obstacle is the terrific rain. The real challenge is to cross "TOLICHOWKI" with occasional pools of high current water. The car halted .I thought it might be the routine traffic jam we dialy face here!!With the flow of the songs "chand sifaarish " "woh Ajnabee" "pehli nazar me" "Kabhi Kabhi aditi" and many more I didnt realise how long we were stuck in the traffic!INDIAN MUSIC "A real life saver" and even a misguide at such moments ;)When I checked my watch shockingly i realised from the past 45min we have moved only few feet... so did my brother who was immersed in his lappy!
The impatience, cold sneezes and the rumble in the stomach intensified when I was able to see only and only VEHICLES as far as my eyes could see!The heavy population of India is clearly evident is such moments! All sorts of vehicles Possible on this globe "A Honda City " "A Innova" " A WAGON R" " A INDICA" and what not..(IS Indian economy really low?!!?)"gosh! these gigantic vehicles should be banned on such depressing roads!"This was the first thought struck me that night..Entered the adjacent one way traffic road which was empty but invain. How blindly people follow others when facing a common problem ":-("! Obviously almost immediately even this road got jammed..We had no other choice than entering the "OLD IS GOLD" road through a passage in the divider. The intensity of hunger increased so much so that "Kyu Aaj kal neend kam Khwaab zyada hai" Seemed depressing on 92.7 FM..."Hyderabad House" was nearing but the moments were so unpredictable that we cant go attack BIRYANI and come back....but we were not moving either...In such a distressing hungry second my genius bro suddenly got down and bought a Chicken pizza and cream rolls from a near by bakerY.Three of us had a moon light cum HEAD--LIGHTS dinner:-).."RARE PEOPLE RARE HAPPENINGS"!First time felt the joy in satisfying the rumbling stomach to some extent (as my share was just 2 pizza pieces and a roll) is heavenly :-D!
We were slogging yawning and dragging the time some how.Radio me love guru shuroo and the same old long consoling suggestions, ideas which raised the count of "YAWNS"!The gup shup ended and even the pizza got digested. Its taking 15min on an avg to reach from one shopping mall to the next road side.!Got a crazy idea to enter in to a function hall and have dinner where "Shaadi" bells were feebly ringing due to splash of rain and lack of crowd..but "BOSS who will believe three withered faces came to attend a wedding!"Many restaurants passed but no one had energy enough to get wet in rain and have food.It seemed like after ages we touched the borders of Tolichowki where we have a temple and a Darga!few cars were half drowned in the muddy pools at few places!!It was 10:45 and the rain didnt rest ::A CLEAR AND LONG INTERACTION WITH WHAT IS CALLED "CYCLONE".The jet of water from the fly--over splashed the car top with a "DUB DUM" sound which strengthened me a little as it indicated "At last we reached our destination"..Am almost home..Reached home at 11:15.So A 3 and 1/2 hr restless journey on Hyd roads which normally takes not more than 40min!
The first thing I wanted to do is jump on my bed and just sleep, but the dinner table with hot tomato dal "cucumber chutney" and paapad were inviting. So gulped some food as soon as possible and had a sound sleep. The saturday morning I got up late and saw My window panes are still being splashed and..."AAAAAhhhhhh" I yawned loud and sipped a hot releiving tea with situational rain song "Vache vache nalla mabbullara" which means Dark xlouds are on the way!..:-) from the movie AAnand on radio:)

"The F!RsT dAy"

The first day at hostel on the first day of Engineering,

If only I could see a known person..I started peering

Caught the vague smile of a new girl who was equally anxious,

The thought of leaving home making me obnoxious!!

Rounded the college once trying to recognise any known faces,

College greenery won my heart, and even the garden of hybrid roses!

The first sight of F.E.D. or Fresh Man Engg Department,

Filled high spirits in me and even caused resentment!

LIKE JACK OF ALL TRADES learnt many new things

Half day classes with phy, chem and engineering drawings!

The first Engg Graphics class with drafters on shoulders!

As if ready to battle with swords in holders!

Reading Novels, magazines and gossiping,

Lunch breaks Evening chats and mass-bunking!

Sitting in the last benches and doing lecturer’s mime,

Got used to One night stand when comes the exams time!!

Farewell parties, Slam books first day turned to last day so soon,

Felt only at the final departure that College is also a boon!

The first day as a professional started,

Never ending story and we will never get parted!!!:-)

And I keep on waiting...(read som wer n liked it so its here!)

Its 8:15 a.m. and I stand here in the bus stop waiting for the office
bus to arrive. I stand here in the same manner as I did a few years
back waiting for my college bus. Little did I know then that things
would change so much in 2 years; the sky under which I am standing
seems to be looking at me and smiling .. It is perhaps the only thing
that has acted as a witness .. watching the transformation of a loud
and bubbly person into a quiet professional.

I wouldn't blame the professionalism for the change though. It is
destiny, or may be you could call it life. Yes Life, esoteric in the
true sense, for one does not understand why you meet hundreds of people
everyday, work with so many, and still remain lonely.

I am now in one of the corner seats in the bus, looking out of the
window watching people trying to catch up with "life" .. It's an hour's
journey and the only company that I generally have is the chatter of
the RJ. I seldom notice the person sitting next to me, for its going to
be yet another stranger or may be you could say another acquaintance.
It is annoying at times when the radio is switched off, not because I
am cut off from the melody but because I would now be thrust with
thoughts of the solitary journey ahead.

I can't help thinking about the short bus journeys to college ... well
it's a paradox to call a distance of 30 KMs "short", but that is how it
always seemed. A typical college day always begins in the bus with all
the familiar faces; you look forward for all your friends to get in
from the various stops, the reasonless giggles, the loud laughter that
were stifled to avert the eyes of the lecturers and professors who
would watch on us as if we were their prospective prey for the day ....
well as I said it was a different life then. The pleasant memories of
college are in itself good enough to save me from the misery of the bus
journey.

I notice that it is time for me to get down and flash my smile of
acknowledgement to all the known strangers that I see as I approach my
cubicle. A few of my colleagues greet me with their morning wishes and
as always, we exchange our pleasantries. Discussions jump to the
weekend plans and I wonder what I'd do over the weekend.

It would be just another day staring at the mobile, wishing it would
ring and bring back some wonderful moments that are now missing in life
or maybe the safer option would be to come to office, for it's my new

founded World these days. A few years back, weekends or weekdays
didn't matter to me, I was always busy. I always stood doubting the
authenticity of the wall clock that seemed to be in running too fast to
perceive its movement. Alas, now it seems as though my clock is
suffering from some kind of paralytic attack.
There is a time in life, where one needs to go ahead, leaving behind
your friends and carrying along only memories. You do make new friends,
but then you never get the old close ones ... you do meet people who'd
be so good to you that you could tell them anything and everything, but
you do not find a person to whom you needn't say things ... friends who
just know you. Occasional calls from such friends, have been the only
thing that I seem to look forward to ...However, I cant help but notice
the uneasy pause that lingers around the conversation ..A pause not
because of the relationship, but because it is too short a duration to
say everything, and of course you cannot completely rule out the
paucity of words!

As I sip coffee from the ubiquitous coffee mug, watching the drops of
rain, trickling down the tinted glass panes, veiling the scenic beauty
outside, I tell myself, may be there will be a day when things will
change, when life will offer a rewind, a recap of all the events and I
just have to wait.

Capricious are the ways of life, for I know there would be many who'd
be able to empathize with me, ironically, even the dear ones that I
miss this moment, waiting perhaps...!!

And I keep on waiting......

ANT and THE grassHopper!!

Do you want to be stated as developed or developing?

Think it over

...........................................................................
.....................................................................

Really a class analogy..

An Old Story:

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house
and laying up supplies for the winter.

The Grasshopper thinks the Ant is a fool and laughs & dances &
plays the summer away.
Comes winter, the Ant is warm and well fed. The Grasshopper has no
food or shelter so he dies out in the cold.

Indian Version:

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house
and laying up supplies for the winter.
Grasshopper thinks the Ant's a fool and laughs & dances &
plays the summer away.
Come winter, the shivering Grasshopper calls a press conference and
demands to know why the Ant should be allowed to be warm and well
fed while others are cold and starving. NDTV, BBC, CNN show up to
provide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper
next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table
filled with food.

The World is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be that this
poor Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's house.

Medha Patkar goes on a fast along with other Grasshoppers demandin
g that
Grasshoppers be relocated to warmer climates during winter .

Mayawati states this as `injustice' done on Minorities.

Amnesty International and Koffi Annan criticize the Indian Government
for not upholding the fundamental rights of the Grasshopper.

The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the
Grasshopper (many promising Heaven and Everlasting Peace for
prompt support as against the wrath of God for non-compliance).

Opposition MPs stage a walkout. Left parties call for 'Bengal
Bandh' in West Bengal and Kerala demanding a Judicial Enquiry.

CPM in Kerala immediately passes a law preventing Ants from working
hard in the heat so as to bring about equality of poverty among Ants and
Grasshoppers.

Lalu Prasad allocates one free coach to Grasshoppers on all Indian
Railway Trains, aptly named as the 'Grasshopper Rath'.

Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the ' Prevention of
Terrorism
Against Grasshoppers Act' [POTAGA], with effect from the beginning
of the winter.

Arjun Singh makes 'Special Reservation ' for Grasshoppers in
Educational Institutions & in Government Services.

The Ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and having
nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes,it's home is confiscated by the
Government and handed over to the Grasshopper in a ceremony covered
by NDTV.

Arundhati Roy calls it ' A Triumph of Justice'.

Lalu calls it 'Socialistic Justice '.

CPM calls it the ' Revolutionary Resurgence of the Downtrodden '
Koffi Annan invites the Grasshopper to address the UN General
Assembly.

Many years later...
The Ant has since migrated to the US and set up a multi-billion
dollar company in Silicon Valley,
100s of Grasshoppers still die of starvation despite reservation
somewhere
in
India,

"THE HEAVENLY COORG TRIP!!"

The day started with less spirits as the journey was long and tiresome in the bus from Hyd to Mysore then all the way to COORG!!:) To Mysore it was roughly one night journey with two disgusting movies in the AIRAVAT of Karnataka!I always feel irritated by the schedule of the boring movies they play in the buses.Shaadi No:1 and Ek duje ke liye made me YAWN but couldn’t sleep coz of the hell lot of disturbance!!I didn’t get how two people can love so much so filmily even in a film !! then the tragic death they meet by the end of the movie :(!!The journey was half fun half boring .The session of the movies ended with Om Shanti Om in the morning till bus halted at Mysore with a small Intermission late night for rest:(.We halted at the dairy guest house to freshen up and do some shopping in Mysore before we start for Coorg! Was sleepy coz of journey the night before.Had to wait at the Mysore Diary when Papa went to meet his friend there reviving all the memories of his Old office which made him active but parallely made me sleep coz of long waiting !Finally Dad was back after a coffee and chitchat with his buddy. We had Lunch at a famous restaurant in Mysore in a stereotypic Carnatic style with a paapad, dal, poori,Achaar curry ghee sambar and what not..It was Yummy!! and heavyyy!Leaving Mysore with out purchasing a Mysore Silk Saree is insulting the city.Mom bought one and gifted me one (though I would be rarely wearing it!!Saree the most b’ful and most uncomfortable dress of INDIA ;-)!)We started for Coorg which is a hill station a district 120 KMS from Mysore in a BUS! The journey wasn’t up to the mark of my imaginations as myself and my bro were disappointed by the hot climate out !Had an Ice candy on the way which relaxed me a bit.We were chit chatting loudly and weren’t aware when we touched the borders of coorg! The COOL breeze and dense Greenery on both sides of the road invited us to a new world! which was so inviting that we forgot what was our topic of conversation.Sat silent and enjoyed the climate ..with situational songs being played like ruth aagai re ruth chagai re :) which filled high spirits among all of us.Cool breeze cloudy sky and occasional drizzle all in all was awesome! The dense forests and the familiar forest sounds like birds chirping and some strange sort of sounds finally made me feel WE ARE THERE IN COORG! Kushalnagar was more of a forest Area with the B’ful HAARANGI DAM where we stayed through out the trip in the middle of the forest in a guest house!Madikeri----HeadQuarters of Coorg is a beautiful town situated at a high altitude and all the houses there were scattered here and there at different levels of altitude as if in a Amphitheatre :-)!All the way we were capturing all the beautiful spots we came across with our diggy cam!We rarely get vegetarian food in Coorg! The place being so cool people there prefer having NV food and HOT DRINKS !Was bored to death with the intake of nonveg.By the end of the trip I was craving for my favourite Aloo khurma and Bhendi Fry( made by mom!)
The first day we entirely spent in the journey and getting settled in the guest house at Kushal Nagar! The first place we visited the next day was TalaCauvery the birth place of cauvery river in side a temple (Of which god am not sure)but a very B'ful place which got imprinted in my BRAIN!As soon as we entered the place which was some 3500ft high to the madekeri town .The morning heat was strong enough to activate the sebacious glands(oil glands! in Laymans terms)We were wondering how come at such an altitude we were sweating!!All of a sudden surroundings became chilly with cool breeze and sudden clouds drifting our way :)I felt as if there was some Solar Eclipse looking at the sudden darkness!Fog filled the entire place as if some one has sprayed it using enormous sprayers! Nothing was visible for 5--10min!!and the lonely benches with lamp posts covered in the dense fog made me feel I entered some FAIRY LAND a fascinating world which i always wanted to visit!!With mild sun the fog got showered as drizzle!and the cycle of sun--fog--drizzle continued for some more time.I climbed up 350 steps for a better view down the valley and was panting hard by the time I climbed down the same steps a total 700!!Purchased the famous Coorg Coffee and Honey on our way back from TalaCauvery! The place is famous for tea coffee plantations obviously being at such a high altitude. Visited same old historical places like TOMBS of some RAJA and blah blah!! as a part of the trip to cover all the spots, our Driver explaining the significance of each and every spot!

The below pic shows the peak point of Tala cauvery

A Hindu Raja some VeeraRajendras tomb who was killed by Tipusultan is still worshipped by few local people! The evening view and sunset of Madikeri seen from RajaSeat(THE MOST WONDERFUL view point)is just speechless. The fog, different kind of flowers(esp: white lillies),the deep down valley and the sun set was an UNBEATABLE COMBO!Kings way was the only restaurant at KushalNagar where we found that food is good enough (digestable i can say with less oil and good taste :))

I was awestruck by the hospitality of the town people there. The way they treat the tourists as guests and the kind heart they have which is missing among the crowded cities these days!
A place is finally decided as good better or best by the crowd there!Geographically whatever may be the intensity of the beauty of the place!Even in this aspect I can give full marks to Coorg in making us feel at home!ABBY waterfalls
---One more Superb spot where i felt like spending the whole evening but had to leave coz of time constraint!Falls were less dense with not much rainfall at this period of year but were beautiful enough to arrest our eyes!Had a strong coffee on the way back from falls which added extra energy:)700 steps at TalaCauvery jammed my legs.Still I was moving in a trans as if in a dream.Fascinated by the beauty of Coorg...forgot the leg sprain completely!

The next day was more ex
citing at the forests of Dubare with elephants and rafting though i didnt experience rafting!Only my bro did(Ithought better luck next time with
friends:))The experience of sitting on the rocks in the midst of a high current Cauvery river was mind blowing though faced Mama's taunts now and then "Not to go too far"!By afternoon around 12:30 there was a heavy current of water may be coz of rains up the hills was my guess;-)There used to be 6 elephants but as 4 of them have disappeared in to the forest!the elephant rider's business was heavily effected with less customers per day.All in all it was a cooland green(Not to be mentioned again but still!!)experience on the banks of Cauvery river. We visited a dense bamboo park where the cottages, shops every thing was constructed with bamboo..A deer park and a strong rope way are worth mentioning there.

Our final destination in COORG was the "GOLDEN TEMPLE" a place for Buddhist Monks! among who there were priests and even students who came all the way from Tibet to study buddhism to India! The architecture of the temple and their prayers with loud music were very new to me!They write some thing in the memory of the dead people and priests on some
silk clothes which are tied outside the temple to the trees!Purchased a beautiful bag, bracelet and the chiming metal bells from the Tibetian stalls there. The bell is believed to be a strong LUCKY CHARM in Tibet. If I keep aside this LUCK FACTOR the sole reason I purchased it is "It was soooo damn cute!:)"
By evening as I started realising the trip was about to end I already felt sick and remembered the leg pain bothering me from the past 2days;)The same old office when I am back to Hyderabad and the same old work and the rush on the roads...traffic jams ...Pollution filled journey blurred my mind and made me weak.I even got a wild idea of getting settled in that place making coffee&Honey business as my occupation(exporting them to other places!)As all this is just a whim ...after having hot and tasty pakoda and tea at a near by hotel and the last supper at Coorg which had Chicken Shorba and a tasty Rasam made by our guest house cook KrishnaMurthy(who proudly said he is 35yrs experienced in cooking!)and sleeping soundly that night, packed our luggages the very next morning to start to Bangalore !!:(

The moment I was leaving COORG I promised to myself "I will come back"!Halted at Mysore for the afternoon food and started to Bangalore to catch the flight for the return journey!which was adventurous enough as we reached the wrong airport (old one)coz of the wrong information given by my papas DOST!!(grrr!)We reached Devanahalli(new airport)just in time passing all the polluted roads , crowds, dirty traffic signals of the "Garden city" (each signal on average was for 5min:().Taking wrong roads now and then ..getting more and more late and requesting the Indigo people that we are almost at airport (Which was a waste trial)! We finally reached the airport at 7:15 while the flight is at 7:30.Ran like mad in to the airport and were relieved when we were informed "flight is delayed by 25min"!! uffff....so the heavenly TRIP ended with a hell lotta tension in Bengalaru!which reminded me Coorg more n more! Finally reached Hyderabad at about 8:45 PM sharp (Less than half of the time spent on Bengalooru ROADS ;-))!
As soon as i landed on Hyderabad the immediate thing i realised was "OMMMI GODD MY LEGS are PAINING LIKE HELL"!!but nothing can be a reason now to take rest at home..HAD TO GO TO OFFICE with heavy heart filled with all the light cloud like cool memories of coorg!Shared the snaps among all the Friends, the memories lingering afresh in my mind..."HATS OFF" to the COOL--COORG :)
